Sure, I can give it a try tomorrow. But no one seems to be answering my question which is about who is the best person to inspect the damp and give me a verdict ?? I have called the damp experts, they say they don't do pre inspections tests, the plumber says it's not their turf. This is very stressful. The building inspector says just specialist and doesn't reveal much. Re: Brand new house - Rising damp issue 31Jun 02, 2019 10:13 pm Not sure about the name of the tests, but he sort of focussed on the base of the walls, also he checked the drains of the house. He checked the bricks in other areas and confirmed that it's not bricks and apparently Qld bricks don't have salt content etc.... Final verdict was it is a raising damp issue Re: Brand new house - Rising damp issue 32Jun 02, 2019 10:26 pm I can only go back to what I noted in my first post about the concrete height but there is nothing like being onsite for visuals. 3in1 Supadiverta.
