Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 09, 2020 4:43 pm Hi All, Our block is a narrow 12.5 * 30 with rear facing north east. We are pondering if we should have a window highlighted in blue so that we get more northern sun. There is a window further down in the plan (near the meals) so I am not entirely sure if this additional window will prove to be beneficial. This also means we will have a stacker or windows on all 3 sides of the family room and not sure how this will look like. Could you please provide your suggestion? If I flip the family and living Alfreco might block the northern sunlight from entering the house.. my concern is not about the light but it is more about getting the glazing right so the heat from the northern sun can enter the home during winter. 0 643 Hi, My first post here.
