Browse Forums Building A New House 1 May 23, 2019 9:37 am We are building with Clarendon Homes for the second time and we are wanting to have a dark blue cladding colour applied to the front of the house. Can anyone tell me who the supplier is for Clarendon so we can find out what standard colours are available and whether we'll need to paint it to get the desired colour? Hi There should be a specification in your contract which details the type of product. Failing that there will definitely be a notation on your approved plans which should have the supplier and type of product so the certifier can sign off on it. If its a fibre cement product, it will either be James Hardie, CSR or BCG. Its hard to tell from the images which style they have chosen, but my guess is if its flat its probably James Hardie Matrix ( although the two other companies have almost identical products) If i am correct you will need to paint it your desired colour Edit: i just went onto Clarendon's website and it looks like it could be James Hardie Linear link below: https://www.jameshardie.com.au/products/weatherboards/scyon-linea-weatherboard/ Simeon McGovern Affordable Custom Homes, We design and build to your budget Ashington Homes www.ashingtonhomes.com.au Re: Clarendon Homes cladding supplier 3May 23, 2019 10:28 am Ok so they would have had to paint it the first time around too then. Unless it's another product.. either way, it looks like the specific colour we want, which is more like a Royal Blue, is not going to be part of anyone's standard colours.
