Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 25, 2019 9:24 pm Received our Master plans, including Elevations, and seen for the first time that above the front entry door and also external laundry door, the drawings say “300mm Hilites Above Openings”. Our doors are standard 2030 high, while the house is 2700 high. Does anyone know what this means? Is it some sort of fibre cement infill? All windows and sliding doors are aluminium. You can still have a hilite in a timber frame. I would assume that this refers to a fixed glass panel above both doors.
