I don’t know what your end game is. As per the other thread you’ll just get opinions about what others like/prefer. Who are building the house for, yourself and your family to enjoy or for the approval of strangers? If you like it then go do it, don’t worry about what others say/advise. One look through HomeOneForum proves most people play it safe and copy everyone else with regards to facades and McMansions with their mandatory 35-40 squares of boring uninspiring spaces.

The cost of doing anything else is pretty prohibitive!
