Yes. It will be rendered. Our build used similar bricks where it will be rendered.

There is a house near me where I think the brickies have used it as challenge to see how many different type of bricks they can use.
On my house they did the opposite - used the same expensive face bricks for the areas that were being rendered

Seriously. All great fun, this higgildy-piggidly approach to under-rendering masonry is until expansion coefficients of different bricks (and let's not introduce the concept of grassing) and blocks over time is thought about.
PS Seen today's press reports re QBCC apparently issuing 18 or so show cause notices into the Queensland building industry re individual corporate financial capacities?

That is appalling... Even if the front is to be rendered.
Render will stick to each type of brick differently, It look as though they have used double height clay (which is the best for render application), and the other single height bricks looks glazed and the render will more than likely have issues sticking to this causing cracking.
I would be contacting the brick manufacturer and getting them to confirm whether the bricks used are suitable for render application. I can see 3 different types...
If this were my builder I'd be annoyed.
