Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Henley 2May 01, 2019 10:42 pm Hi There, I'm also planning to go with Henley (the Aegean) as my first KDR. I am also considering the Carlisle option as well. Did you look at other builders and if so, what's swaying you towards Henley. Was it the design, price, inclusions or a bit of everything? As for me, the current inclusion promotion that Henley is running is very appealing as well as the design of the Aegean. Thanks Matt Re: Henley 3Jun 12, 2019 4:47 pm Hi Toby, I had a mixed build experience with Henley. I built the Ramada 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms which is no longer available. Handover was done a few months ago. If you are building straight off the plan without any changes, they will build to spec and you should have no complains. If you have any changes however minor it is best to go to another builder as Henley suck at customer service. Henley customer service should rename themselves 'Henley service' as they are only concerned about protecting themselves. They won't give you a straight answer and will look for ways to fob you off any way they can. My build supervisor however was the knight in shining armour who did a great job and a quality build. All issues were dealt with promptly.Without him which Henley would have got the worst review from me. Good luck! That’s very true, I totally agree that they only protect themselves and Luckily our sales consultant was really good but after that Henley customer service is zero. Re: Henley 5Aug 24, 2019 10:57 pm Toby19 I am considering to build with Henley and was wondering if any one who has build recently with them could give me some feedback of the overall building experience they had with this company please May be I am too late to reply but If you haven’t decided yet then don’t go with Henley. Avoid Henley if at all possible. They gave me a "completed" house 3 weeks back. They took a wee to commission the heating system. Last week we have huge water leak through the ceiling. Solar water heater pipes were damaged and water was freely flowing through down lights. Luckily they promptly responded and plumbers came and rectified. But, that is not something you expect in a brand new house completed 2 weeks ago. Re: Henley 7Feb 21, 2020 4:28 pm Suggacup Hi Toby, I had a mixed build experience with Henley. Sorry to reply to an aged post, can you advise on what sort of changes you are talking about? We are requesting to make change to close the alfresco and adding ensuite to one of the bedroom, and still don't see the draft after waiting for three weeks. Should we walk away? Hi, If you give a set of criteria as to what means 'good' to you, it'll give others prompts to respond. We considered Henley early on but there were two factors that… 1 10527 |
