Today I learn that it's pretty common to duct rangehood outlet to under eave even though u have a roof just above.
U can see the disadvantages of it.
Sigh. If u knew that I would have specify in my contract it has to go out of the roof with a flue.
I will just redo it post build.

Yeah, Just that until now. I didn't know its common to do the rangehood outlet under eaves.
I assume if there is easy roof cavity above kitchen , It will just be ducted to outside using duct and flue out of the roof.
So something I learn for future build.
