I wouldnt reduce it. Having sunlight in your living areas makes the place feel very fresh and clean. Perhaps replace it with https://www.viridianglass.com/products/noise/comforthush.
We did this for all our upstairs windows.

We will review. Don’t think we got too many. But I’ve also been looking at proper glass.
How have you found the Comfort Hush? Value for money? How did you end up choosing VG over say another brand ? Thanks as well for your input.

Haven't lived in it just yet. House is just at lock up stage though the upstairs I believe better than a lot of other upstairs places Ive been in at this stage. Sorry I cant be of more help. Its also likely to just end up as some form of buyers justification anyway so I will believe there has been value in it because we shelled out 3K to go get all those upstairs windows done. Objectively, I just can't tell to you.
We went with the one suggested by our Glazier. I cant comment as to suitability to other brands. These fit in standard window frames making it MUCH cheaper than double glazing at least from our builders point of view.
