I wouldnt reduce it. Having sunlight in your living areas makes the place feel very fresh and clean. Perhaps replace it with https://www.viridianglass.com/products/noise/comforthush.

These fit in standard window frames making it MUCH cheaper than double glazing at least from our builders point of view.
