So... not sure if this is a really stupid idea, but we need to upsize and build a house, but are hoping to join it to our existing (currently separate) granny flat to make best use of space. Hoping one of the home builders can apply their existing house plan and just open up a wall somehow to link to the granny flat.
Going to talk to some this weekend but just wondering... am I dreaming? Is this a terrible idea? I'm completely new to this.
