Hey mrcool4 - did you end up finding someone? I myself am looking for an IBI (independent building inspector) for the Melbourne area for a new build and found the details below? Anyone else that you know of that have been really good IBI's?

A late reply but mrcool4 probably means a building consultant who does house inspections.
