Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Sitecost and bored piers 3Mar 11, 2019 11:59 am Depending where you are and what is the cost of concrete in your state. The actual depth is not something you can easily calculate as the actual depth will be varying across your site. If 900 mm is average depth, you are looking into roughly 9.5 cubes of concrete + cost of pump hire + cost of steel. Re: Sitecost and bored piers 4Mar 11, 2019 12:08 pm konatham Hi, I got my soil test done by the builder and it has been determined that my site would need 67 bored piers with 450mm diameter and 900mm depth. How much would it cost me now as I have not included the sitecosts in my contract. Are there any alternate measures that I can take to meet these extra costs.I was not fully explained about these things while signing the contract and I know that ignorance is not an excuse. Thanks Sunil Can screw piles be another option? How good is Simeon?! Always taking time to help others out! Wish we were building in NSW and could work together.
