As they will not be overshadowed by northern neighbours. It's always a great idea to orientate the home so that living areas (& a large proportion of glazing) to face north. They'll be light, warm in winter & shaded by eaves in summer. Designing to these principles is called "passive solar design". https://www.yourhome.gov.au/passive-design Also, with this block shape, a rectangular home can be build, with the longer walls facing north & south, the shorter walls facing west & east. This is perfect for passive solar design, so increases comfort & energy efficiency. https://www.yourhome.gov.au/passive-design/orientation But facing living areas to the north on these southern corner blocks means they will face the street. So lack of privacy can be an issue. The gap can be adjusted so it's tighter. You can definitely set up corner cabinets to have the same gap as standard doors. 2 13532 4 14255 Dear all, Requesting your help in relation to a CDC code.
