Apparenty the digging was supposed to be 1250m in depth , but the contractor did uneven digging so somewhwrw 1400 aswell. Few days back the footing cements was poured , and today i recieved a total bill of 43000 dollars. Its difference of almost 10 grand. Plz help me i cant afford it.. i tld builder so many times to stop d work and first give me the cost but they said cost will come after 6 weeks . I dont know what should i do. I already paid them 33 k that was high price in that area... and now charging me another 10. Im building in inglefarm with fairmont in Adelaide. Any help and guidance will b appreciated. Regards Re: Footing cost Variation 10 grand .... plz help 3Feb 15, 2019 7:56 pm Did you sign off on the variation? Hi Marko The best thing to do is to have a look at your contract and see how the variation clause is worded. We use the NSW Fair trading contract and the way that is… 1 5065 yep sounds good make the footing bigger to to allow for the pipe in the middle 3 5284 PM me your email. I have a build excavation calculator you can use based on your plans to double check what your builder is telling you. Cheers Simeon 1 8012 |
