We are hoping to! We've requested a tender and are now just waiting (5 weeks).
Our block hasn't registered yet which they knew, but have had issues getting on the block. as of this week we have footpaths on our block so hoping to get our tender back in the next couple of weeks.
Where exactly are you building in the Hunter? We are at Lake Mac.

Welcome, Iam from exactly newcatle . So you are from central coast.
My plans are currently in council. So you are dealing with Chisholm rite. Ok
Normally allworth took only 2 weeks for issue the tender, I don't know why! Is your block still under construction with developer! Purchased off the plan.
Whats your home size?

We are dealing with the Central Coast office at Woongarrah, and are building on the central coast, but pay Newcastle prices... The block is off the plan, but has been cleared, flattened etc for some time, apparently as there was a ditch at the front for the sewer lines to be laid, but that is all sorted now, so should coming along soon.
House we are building is 26 squares on a 700m2 block. Hoping if all goes to plan that we will be in by late June/July!
Was your tender price in line with your estimates?

Tender got what i expected, I go with fixed price option, so cost slightly higher, it's acceptable.
My site soil classification is H1 and filling in the site and cut and fill 800mm. So site cost bit higher.
I got a quote with other project builders, they really very expensive. Allworth pretty reasonable price for the site cost, base price of the house and upgrades.

Yeah, all the upgrades do seem pretty good!

How much your house base price and how big your house? I don't have a big budget so went to price leader range.

Good, i love altona design, budget not allowed to do that. What facade did you choose? Try to get 150 or 180 days tender period.
Paper works in the drafting not fast, I got 150days still Iam worried going to expired in 7 weeks time. Plans in the council now. After DA approval allworth took another 2 weeks for apply Construction certificate and sign a building contract.

We are going with the flair facade. it will just be the standard 150 days, but who knows when I'll actually get my tender!!

150days, that's fine
But allworth standard is 120days only. Make sure you get with 150days. Is your block finished roadworks?
How much cost for your block of land!

Time to reopen the allworth forum.
Regarding your pm casabonka,
Mine garage set back 6.6m from boundary and 9.9m from kerb.
How much total size my driveway you recon?

Assuming its a standard double garage of 6m W, it will be 10 x 6m, therefore 60m2. That without any paths to front door.
Allworth would've given you an excavation plan which has the driveway layout and contour profile.

Council allowed me, max.4m wide in the entry.
I didn't got any construction plan yet, may be this week.
Is your block affected with mine subsidence?
Re: Who is building with Allworth!16

we have mines near us, there is a letter from the subsidence board saying our area is fine to build on, but would assume some small cracks overtime anyway. what about you?

newcastle/lake macquaire mostly mine subsidence area, we can build a house no problem.
But before your plan go to council, get mine subsidence board approval.
its took may 1 week.
if your land affected with geotechnical T3 zone, get endorsed before go to council
