Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Feb 10, 2019 10:46 am Hello, We bought a land in Atherstone Estate (Stage 14 Middle Park) in Melton South. As per their design requirements, our house is required to have two materials to the front of the house. We go with Metricon who provide Hebel and render coating. If we choose two different colours of Hebel, just wondering if it would meet Estate's requirement? Thanks for your advice in advance. So unless you can call it two types of Hebel material it won't comply with the estate. I would suggest Hebel for the structure and adding a modern stone stacker pillar, which will look good and help you meet the guidelines. Re: Design requirements from Atherstone Estate 4Feb 10, 2019 1:37 pm It would be better if I copy the statement from the design guideline as below. "Homes which have a total wall coverage greater than 75% of any one material may be permitted where they provide increased articulation through a substantial verandah, varied roof form and colours of columns/pillars, and general recessed and protruding elements in the built form." In the above guideline, do you think it is required two different materials? Thanks. Metricon Amira This was on google.
