Browse Forums Building A New House Re: New home build - Custom Design WA 101Oct 07, 2019 9:24 am Wow, your house look good, but a bit slow. Mine is full brick 2 storey started in August and the builder said it should be finished by February, the contract time frame is April 20. We are at the roof stage now, and the work is continue 5 days a week so far, weather been good so far!! I checking on the work almost every 2nd day after work and We never have any problem getting in the site to look, even builder invite in and if anything does not look right we ask builder immediately. Even the we currently encounter problem with upper floor suspended concrete (in situ type) thickness not even, and try to see why, also we plan to lay solid timber floor on upper level but forgot to tell builder before the upper floor concrete poured, so now have to work with builder to level the wet area so both same level at the end. Building house is exciting but also headaches at the same time. Re: New home build - Custom Design WA 102Oct 07, 2019 10:06 am Sanders2 Wow, your house look good, but a bit slow. Re: New home build - Custom Design WA 106Oct 12, 2019 12:49 pm This week the dry wall and ceilings were installed on the ground floor. The remaining window frames were installed - I'm loving the look of the commercial frames going all the way to the ceiling. The render was continued around the exterior of the ground floor and the roof cover over the garage was also commenced.
