Our solicitor sent us the QUU statement and theres no water meter number. I'm assuming this means we will need to arrange an install of a water meter. I'm just wondering if anyone has an idea what this would cost? Eg is it 1k or could be 20k? The existing water main was in the verge on my side of the road though - if the closest main is in the opposite verge it'll cost you more. A dial before you dig application will help you determine where the closest existing main is. I paid about the same amount again for my sewer connection - again, costs depend on the location of the main that you'll be discharging to. That's a fantastic result!
