Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jan 25, 2019 11:24 am Hi All I'm in very early stages of researching the possibility of building a new home.. I've been in contact with wisdom homes and they have so far been helpful in answering my question but thought I would also post here. I'm curious about is if volume builders allow owners to complete tasks on a new build themselves whether it be during the building process or after handover. I'm referring to such things as interior painting, flooring and possibly exterior painting, generally jobs where you don't need a qualified person. I've been through several large renos and am quite comfortable in completing certain jobs better than some work I've seen from tradies I've hired over the years. Thanks John Hi Sydneysider The square meterage rate you are seeking for largely depend on the complexity of site. The same build on a flat land vs sloped land can vary that sqm rate… 2 1303 We were able to agree them to what we were saying. As with all builders, they create some BS story to suit what they want to tell. 2 3640 Thanks both for responseejae SejaeD, I have posted this in another forum as well and let's see if I any gas expert bump into this post... 3 805 |
