Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 07, 2019 9:53 am Hi guys, Just want to ask everyone's experience. Our land has already been settled and we signed the contract with our chosen builder. It's been 6 weeks of waiting now and land/contour survey they said is not finished yet. How long does it usually take for land/contour survey to complete based on your experience? Thanks in advance. Re: how long does it take for the land/contour survey? 3Jun 07, 2019 12:40 pm alexp79 Depends on the size of the land, but for most blocks under 1000 sqm, several hours onsite and a half a day to prepare the drawings. A day or 2 max. thanks alexp79. Ours is just 275 sqm. Wondering why our builder is taking a looonnng..time. Re: how long does it take for the land/contour survey? 5Jun 07, 2019 12:53 pm alexp79 give them a ring and ask, it is a matter of 1 min call or one e-mail to arrange. In 6 weeks proper builder can build up a house to the lock up stage. yeah we've been chasing them for a while but still can't get reasonable update. We'll just keep trying..it's frustrating.. Give "Holt Surveying" they are based around Eight Mile Plains 3 8725 A survey must’ve completed by a certified surveyor. This form part of every DA requirement 3 223588 ask the surveyor for clarification would be the logical approach 1 20124 |
