Seeking some information on possible options on a down-pipe issue.
In short, the builder overlooked the cladding interfering with a proposed down-pipe. Their offered options were:
- Replace the rectangular down-pipe with a round down-pipe and stand-off brackets,
- Keep the rectangular down-pipe but it wont be flush against the wall.
We are definitely not happy with either option, because (a) the round down-pipe would clash with the remaining rectangular down-pipes, and (b) a non flush down-pipe would look awful.
We proposed either removing it completely and letting the water flush back onto the lower tiles. Or putting a short piece allowing drainage onto the lower tiles.
I have attached photos to show the area affected, as well as the other down-pipes.

This is the closest down-pipe on the lower height.

And this is the remaining down-pipes.
We'd be happy if anyone has any other ideas?
