Ceiling height option for 2 storey - please vote

If you have given these options, which one would you choose?

All doors in the ground floor will have 2340mm height.

We went with 2.7 down stairs and 2.5 upstairs. Worth the money to go 2.7 for sure.

Thanks Brenton, that was our first choice. Having 2.7m and 2.5m are great, but due to building envelope requirement we have been limited to two options only.

Definitely 2.7 to ground floor. It will make a big difference and make the space seem much larger. We are going 2.7 to ground and 2.4 to first floor.

If your budget allows: 2700 downstairs, also Increase the height of all the doors to 2340 including laundry and stacker to 2400, Increase the size of Windows to 2100 or 2330 if with Metricon as they dont charge to increase window height.
Up stairs: 2590, also increase the size of doors to 2340.

I don't like different ceiling heights between ground and first floors. You can tell when display homes have tried to carry the same door heights throughout the home when the ceiling heights are different or even worse when they don't. When you spend 90% of your time awake in your ground floor with 2.7 ceilings you're always going to notice the difference when you go upstairs and you have 2.4 ceilings.

The difference between 2.6 and 2.7 isn't noticeable, go 2.6 throughout and get your door heights increased throughout.
