We just realised that the ensuite is smaller in Bentleigh by 460mm. Bentleigh is a revised plan of Merricks but missed to find that the ensuite is smaller. The plans were issued to construction and there is no way Metricon would allow for a change and I don't think it is worth trying.
However, is there any possibility that ensuite is encroached into WIR 1 at construction stage? would the site managers consider this, moving the wall by say 300mm to increase the ensuite from 2020 to say 2320.

If you move the wall you’d have to move the vanity which would then need the plumbing moved and so on. Being MetriCon they’d do it, but be surprised if they don’t want to charge double or triple to do it.

It is looking very smaller for that size of house. I just visited a home built at that measurements.
OK … so maybe think about how you'd use the space, and if there was extra space how would you use it?
For example if you put extra room into the ensuite itself, would that give you enough extra room to actually do anything extra or get in each other's way less?
The reason I asked is because if it were me, I'd be getting dressed & undressed in the walk-in robe; that fact, plus the ability to have more storage in the WIR, is why on paper I'd have left it the way it is.
But if it's too small in person, eg. you're butting elbows when both using the sink, that's different.
Definitely talk to them ASAP though!
