Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 10, 2008 1:25 pm Hi
I whent to have a look at my house last night and noticed they have sprayed the paint on, witch I no is ok. But they did not cover the floor and we have a border of paint about a foot or two and paint spills every were. I think I no the answer, but is this going to be a problem when I do my tileing. Re: Spray paint all over slab 2Sep 10, 2008 3:29 pm I think the spray paint is for the sparkies to know where they have run their cables etc. That is required as they come back after the plaster is up thus the spray paint tells them where the cables are. It won't be a problem as you do the flooring after they run the cables through the plaster board. Re: Spray paint all over slab 3Sep 10, 2008 4:17 pm Hi
I may not have explained properly. We Have been at lock up for a while now. They have spray painted the walls instead of using a roller to put the paint on, and the floor is coverd in paint from over spray and spills. I have paid for scrubable paint, and dont think it will be easy to remove from the concreat. but if left when laying my tiles i think they will eventually lift. Should they clean the paint off.
