Gorgeous.
We are aiming for something very similar I think. Blackened Legno and Chalk White?
Looks fabulous in situ!

I really do like the Vantage floorplan with the Mode facade. Unfortunately for us we have a 7m height limit and need a flat roof to stay under this limit. In Victoria, Metricon will only build a flat roof on the Riviera which is outside our budget. I'm currently talking to Boutique about their Montauk floorplan with the Nova facade but would really prefer if Metricon would change their mind. Re: KDR Vantage Mode facade modified 84Nov 22, 2019 8:03 pm Render on first floor complete and hopefully M will start on painting before Christmas break. They have asked for the fixing bill even though lock up is not even complete. Warning to everyone! Do not sign metricon payment method 2 as they try to push you to sign this and say you house will be built faster but they will build at their own pace regardless of the payment method you choose and signing payment method 2 means they can ask for the stages as soon as they start 1% of that stage when other paid stages are not even complete. Plaster has issues, mirrors are wrong size. Doors damaged, hebal cracked, facade not level, floors not level, creaking noises, wrong sink, wrong front door, tiling is lumpy, electrical points in wrong location or incorrect selection installated, ceilings and walls need a repaint, rerender in a few parts, down pipes not connected correctly, box gutters not right. Food and rubbish from the contractor every where. With the recent rain it is obvious that the house is still not water tight. We are at the final stage before hand over and this is dreadful. Luckly we have a new site supervisor. Hopefully he will get the place sorted. Re: KDR Vantage Mode facade modified 87Jan 24, 2020 10:37 am Damn! That sounds terrible. Hope the new supervisor can get things sorted for ya. Re: KDR Vantage Mode facade modified 88Jan 24, 2020 12:45 pm Hi Macher, How horrible! Not only the sub standard work, but the disrespect of some trades to leave food wrappers is a pet peeve of mine. Hoping your new site supervisor can right the ship, so to speak. Incorrect selections is another howler, these things get checked, and rechecked, don't they? https://thomasarcherbuild.blogspot.com/p/blog-page.html - Thomas Archer Homes - Custom Nouveau 41 Re: KDR Vantage Mode facade modified 90Apr 12, 2020 8:12 pm We had our pci and hired Dabecca. Report over, 60 pages. Issue I had was leaks still remain in roof at this point. There has been alot of work by metricon to get it right. Such as the kitchen bench top has been remove twice and the kitchen window moved up as the shadow line on drawing and list of inclusions was missed. They have also replace the bottom half of first level facade as it was clearly dropping. Walls Hebel has been cut and replaced. Still things are not prefect and they try to convince us that its much better than it was but does it make it right. We signed off on a few items that they believe was close enough but not within tolerance according to our inspector. We let it go as there are larger issues with the house. Glass and stone broken or chipped. Interested to see how long it will take to fix the issues but at least we are allowed to move in during this midst of covid19.
