We have settlement in a couple of weeks of a property we have purchased with view of demolishing within a couple of months. The house will be vacant in the interim. Do we need house insurance ? Obviously if the place burns down that would be a win for us haha but my husband thinks getting insurance and then that happens would make us look suss. Or if someone breaks In and hurts themeselves could they sue us? Or am I overthinking it ? Thanks.
