Carpenter told us that they not going to take longer than 10 days. One they start every day there is something happening. The times frame on the letter is they allowed just in case. My letter saying completion is due on the 6 of September too. I been told by the contactor that usually site manager don't want to be over more than 6 months during the construction as they will lose bonus. Soo excited to see the house progress every day. The letter I got today says me house completion is in late September '19. Mine took 11 months. But the suppliers held us up. The baluster for the balcony took over 2 months. And the splashback took about the same. They were big pains. My ss was amazing. Even after handover. I really hope you have the same experience too. Just make sure you tell your ss to give you really good painters. Front is timber The staircase. Stackers doors. Two packs kitchen/ butler. Second hot water. freestanding bath. And some touch up upgrade. What is your island benchtop size ?
