It is a great looking estate and we are going to be 1 house away from the parklands being built inc playground, bbq area, half basketball court. Almost all the blocks in the estate are well over 1000 m2 blocks ours is just under 1200. Ours is a unusual block shape being on a bend , it means we will have more side yard rather than rear yard. but we don't mind the siting on block. We decided on the delta design as we liked the flow and the kids retreat, as well as the overlooking yard aspect, so far we have already selected a lot of upgrades to the plan design as well as interior design items. some include (as pictured) butlers pantry with servery to alfresco, master retreat option rather than study, theatre upgrade and ensuite upgrade. Our soil report came back with a H1 Slab recommendation but will find out more about our site costs and tender appointment, hopefully our original estimate of 15k for a h2 provision will come down by a decent amount. The 2 photos here are from caeserstone website visualiser tool, colour scheme we are working on for kitchen bianco drift for our stone with black cabinetry the other is similar to colours picked for outside colours on the pgh bricks visualisers, unfortunately they don't allow for render and our brick is actually sellkirk dawnbreak which is more white than cream, grey brick faced will be a grey render. night sky (black) colourbond roof gutter fascia and garage and front doors. going to warm the house up with some raw wood contempary furniture pieces Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Building Delta(Bliss/ Facade) JG King Shepparton north ( 5Sep 11, 2018 9:16 pm also another collection of photos of our selections basin mixers for both bathrooms, along with kitchen mixer and butlers mixer

Have spoken to our SS M. They have already done site cut first week of nov and we should have our slab next week booked for the 19th. Will hopefully get some pics. ss Said ge would try sending us some while we are not local. Yay finally a start. Re: Building Delta(Bliss/ Facade) JG King Shepparton north ( 9Nov 15, 2018 9:52 am Jamesp85 Also turns out our next door neighbour started 1 week before us also with jg king and same SS. This is good! I think you get more attention when they have multiple builds to visit in a location. We were on our own for all of our build and the rest of our SS's builds were no where near us. We didn't feel we received a reasonable amount of supervision until the last guy who had to drive past our estate to get from his house to the main area he serviced, we would often run in to him first thing in the morning or after work when he swung past on his way home. Re: Building Delta(Bliss/ Facade) JG King Shepparton north ( 10Nov 15, 2018 8:59 pm Thank you James for sharing your experience. I am living in Shepparton as well and now hunting for a new home builder, your update could be very handy. Wish you good luck during your journey of new home building. Already bookmarked your post. Re: Building Delta(Bliss/ Facade) JG King Shepparton north ( 12Dec 08, 2018 7:11 pm We attended our beaumont tiles appointment today, although we had ideas in mind already and kept it pretty simple. Both our bathrooms and laundry will be tiled with standard range square belga grey 450x450 tile. With matching grey grout. Many of our walls in both bathrooms will be tiled floor to ceiling as the feature also allowing our stone benchtops and feature basins and tapware to do the talking. Our kitchen splashback was really the only debate today. We tossed up many options but settled on a white matte 75x300 subway tile laid herringbone with a grey grout. Attached are a couple of examples. We hope this all accent what we're doing well. Our skirtings will be left off and done by us later. We will be laying our own laminate flooring and then having carpet installed into all bedrooms and retreats and theatre. After having really cheap underlay and carpet for almost ten years we went fairly upmarket with our carpet and underlay, we selected dreamweaver, savannah sands colour: carbon 998. (charcoal) with an 11mm dunlop underlay. The floor boards we have selected are aspire, colour (whitely oak) wide long boards. With a 3mm thermocoustic underlay.
