Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've moved into my new home about 8 months ago and have recently gotten the facade rendered along with the patio in the back. I noticed the renderer actually rendered over the termiglass termite barrier, he said this wasn't an issue. However I've seen lots of houses where there's a visible line in the render which I'm assuming is the termite barrier.
Is it a huge issue if the termite barrier has been rendered over? I note that the weep holes have been left exposed.
This is a new property that I had built, the warranty for the termiglass is about to expire and I don't intend to extend it, if that's of any help in answering the question.
