Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jul 25, 2018 7:16 am Hey guys! Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I've moved into my new home about 8 months ago and have recently gotten the facade rendered along with the patio in the back. I noticed the renderer actually rendered over the termiglass termite barrier, he said this wasn't an issue. However I've seen lots of houses where there's a visible line in the render which I'm assuming is the termite barrier. Is it a huge issue if the termite barrier has been rendered over? I note that the weep holes have been left exposed. This is a new property that I had built, the warranty for the termiglass is about to expire and I don't intend to extend it, if that's of any help in answering the question. yep you need a joint, foam is easiest, will look fine once rendered with a joint. 2 5243 Hi, I had a barrier reef pool installed less that 2 years ago and the gel coat is already fading. The colour is electric grey shimmer which isn’t available… 0 3832 I’m not a structural engineer but I’m free. you still need an engineer for the plans. I only have part of your plans, but you seem to have a 850mm drop from the side… 3 9968 |
