I'd highly recommend looking at the bricks in real life- the PGH website doesn't have great colour replication unfortunately. The brick we've chosen looks totally different on the website! Re: PGH brick selection 4Sep 07, 2008 10:16 pm We went to PGH display centres and found that the mortar colour and finish makes a huge difference. Talking to a consultant at PGH they were able to give me a list of homes built with our selected bricks in the last year. This was brilliant as we could see our bricks on real houses!

We haven't decided on the bricks yet.Bricks colour in PGH website and brochure is hard to imagine. We will have to go to the PGH display center to see the brick for ourself. Not sure which brick have been used in that house pic. thanks Re: PGH brick selection 8Sep 07, 2008 10:33 pm If you are going with sorbento, my vote will be definitely with off white mortar. Off white will definitely highlight the colour of brick Re: PGH brick selection 9Sep 08, 2008 7:48 am dream29 Hi all, We need ur advice in selecting PGH brick for our house. We want to choose one of these colour.any suggestion. http://www.pghclay.com.au/pgh/search.asp?productname=All&sName=&state=nsw&colour=All&Range=Palazzo&texture=All&Mode=Search&type=brick&navsection=View+by+range§ion=defaultpage&category=bricks&Mode=Search we kinda thinking of sorbetto and natural mortar with flush joints, what u think? cheers dream29 Get PGH to send some samples out to you, they did for me, looking at them in natural light is always better than any book that shows them by a professional photographer. Also get them to provide some address's of house built out of that brick so you can actually have a look aswell. 0 1755 Hi Kaiser85, We are building with Firstyle Homes.
