Hi Guys,
This is my first post in the forum.
I am building a new home now and they have finished the external walls and roof work last week. However, the downpipes are not positioned as per the council approved plans. In the plans, all the downpipes are running on the sides of the building (not to see any on the front or rear facade).
When I asked the project manager, he said they are positioned as per the roofing guy's best knowledge and can't meet what is mentioned in the plans, because the roofing installation guy has to meet his warranty.
I want to understand whether they are supposed to inform me before taking such a decision because it is spoiling my facade. Also, can I get the decision validated by a 3rd part or a government body? (as the plans are drawn by a professional architect)
Thank you.
