We are getting a similar line but connecting onto the wall, think I might get a fold out one. (Tip- that bark looks bbeeeeautifullll, but DONT drop the washing on it, as the clothes will end up filthy again!). You've done a great job, it's looking lovely and neat. www.themaxbuild.blogspot.com forum.homeone.com.au/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=20717&start=300 www.leahspaperpassion.blogspot.com Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 682Aug 02, 2009 5:41 pm Good job Andy! I'm going to get a fold down one but was thinking of getting one of these for my outdoor area once the roof is on 'A bottle of wine contains more philosophy than all the books in the world.' Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 683Aug 02, 2009 5:43 pm we were originally getting a fold out one but between house and fence in that picture is only just over 2m, so it would have been too tight of a fit.. Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 684Aug 02, 2009 5:53 pm oh WBA it looks beaut! I want you to come and do mine! I am so sick of my clothes horse taking up space in our bedroom well done "Your emotions are the slaves to your thoughts, and you are the slave to your emotions." — Elizabeth Gilbert Living in our new house. I'm getting a fold out one too, on the north side of the house and near the laundry door. If it proves to be too small and not enough line, I have the option of also putting in a retractable one from the wall of the house to the alfresco brick pier (which also faces north and has the added advantage of being under cover). I'll have to live with clothes horses for a while though, I'm sure!! Henley - Wilshire Mk 3 ... I love my house!! Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 686Aug 02, 2009 5:59 pm This one gives me 33m of line.. you can have up to 36m with this model. Which is more than my last one which was only 20m. Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 687Aug 02, 2009 6:04 pm Wow WBA how different does your house look with the fences and some landscaping That washing line is fantastic and suits the space perfectly. Sounds like you had a lot of fun putting it up We will have a hills rotary in the backyard as we will just have enough room for it. Then it can be folded down with a cover when not in use or removed completely. It was very convenient. You wait until everyone is out of the house and then you fold up the line, and remove it. Therefore leaving a perfect excuse to NOT do any washing. Are you having any grass and if so, what type? Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 690Aug 02, 2009 8:13 pm Rowena Looks great WBA. Keep us updated with your garden shots. I have no idea about landscaping.. I leave that up to my dad and my DW. But I did hear them say something about buffalo or something like that. Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. But I did hear them say something about buffalo or something like that. I see. Was watching Better Homes awhile ago and they grew 4 different types. Fully grown and you just lay, grow from seed, spray on and I forget the other one. So much to think of. It'll look good and be a good contrast to the bark. BTW, I was at our block late this arvo (picking up rubbish) and was nearly blown away by the wind. It's very windy out there so you (and we) shouldn't have any trouble getting the laundry dry on the clothesline! Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 695Aug 06, 2009 9:34 pm Your back garden looks great. So neat and tidy and a great job on the clothesline. We have bought ours, was going to get the Hills but we went to the Daytek place near Northland to get a wheel barrow and DH bought the clothesline from them. We got a great deal on both items. We get our landscaping in the front done next week, which is good. Can't wait to have ours looking as nice as yours. Oh and we got our final shutters yesterday and they have come up a treat. I will send some photos, but we didnt clean up, so don't look at the mess....lol we are selling and moving to the coast, if you know someone who wishes to buy in Mernda Villages, please visit this link http://www.realestate.com.au/property-h ... -107083288 Re: WakeboardAndy's House.. Clothesline installed.. new pics 2/8 696Aug 06, 2009 9:59 pm Love the clothesline, and cetainly perfect for the area. We too got a Daytek clothesline which was heaps cheaper than Hills and also made in Australia (Hills is not now) so I was happy to go for the cheaper one made at home. DH put it up over the weekend and it look perfectly fine to me Your back yard is starting to come together, well done Re: WakeboardAndy's House..
