My builder suggesting to get solar system (1.5kW) to be installed along with few other things. I requested the builder to change the solar system to "by client", as I thought of installing a 5kW system. The builder said I can install it after settlement. Now they want me sign PCV with a note,
Owner may be responsible to provide an Interim and/or Final Occupation Certificate upon completion of works if or as may be required by certifier. The Owner is to be satisfied that their lending authority will settle the house construction with Eden Brae Homes without an Occupation Certificate.
- Is this means, they won't provide us the interim Occupation certificate?
- Is it mandatory to complete all BASIX requirements before applying for interim?
I replied that I won't sign the PCV until this note is removed and it's the builder responsibility to provide us the interim for what they have completed.
In previous mail, I was trying multiple times to get the solar system installed during the construction and he refused without any explanation.
Thanks
