We're on a slope , the land is narrow and long and we are at a Roundabout... I have yet to book any builder but heard of someone who was rejected by their builder because they were on a busy road Am I over thinking it? Would love to hear some real experiences of difficult land and building on it? Re: Rejected by Builders?? 2Jun 28, 2018 7:33 pm We went through the KDR process 2 years ago on a sloping block but we are n a Court so didn’t have any traffic issues but got hit with some site access costs due to the slope and and extra costs for rock removal. In our case the Construction Manager did a site inspection, once we fine tuned the estimate and paid a small deposit, to confirm that they would build on the block once the house was demolished. Perhaps take some photos of your property & location to your preferred builder to show them what you’ve got and get an indication from them (with google maps/earth they can probably get an idea from the desktop).
