Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Building with Hallmark Homes 13Mar 24, 2019 10:50 pm Hi Nathan, we’re waiting on a tender price for the Retreat 305 (modified) from Cassie. If we proceed with the build it will either be the Retreat or modified Aspire. We’re still not sure though. We’re living on Bribie Island and enjoying it. We may have jumped the gun with buying the land in Fernvale. Re: Building with Hallmark Homes 14Mar 25, 2019 12:26 pm NathanRetreat298 Hi all, My wife and I are building our first home with Hallmark in a small estate developed by QM Properties. Hammond Crossing in Caboolture. We are constructing an adapted Retreat 305. Our floor plan is 298sqm as we removed the alfresco area. I didn’t like the Burpengary consultants but absolutely fell in love with Cass from Mango Hill who could not stop going out of her way to make our home perfect. At present plans have been approved by council and we are waiting to settle on the land purchase this Friday. Anyone on here built with Hallmark in Caboolture? I built with Hallmark in Morayfield way back in 2003, mostly irrelevant now I guess. For this latest build I dealt with Dylan who works closely with Cassie, both great to deal with and will enthusiastically follow up any questions or concerns you may have throughout the entire process. My personal recommendation is the 9ft ceilings which include 1ft taller windows and garage door. Re: Building with Hallmark Homes 15May 15, 2019 10:35 am Hi Charlee, My wife and I have started our build with Hallmark Homes just this week (Site cut was done yesterday). This will be our third house build, difference being this time we are building in Queensland from Melbourne (Making the move north). So far, we have nothing but for praise for Hallmark Homes. Deciding to build interstate, has been a daunting process, and as you can imagine we did HOURS upon HOURS of research before deciding on location and builder. We spent considerable time with many builders, but couldn't go past Hallmark. The design suited us perfectly, the sales consultant (Russell) was nothing short of SUPER helpful, prompt, and nothing was a issue, making dealing with him from interstate a HUGE help. To put the cherry on top, their pricing was really fair, and considerably cheaper than other builders for the same sort of spec and size. We asked the question on the estate Facebook page about builders, of course (as expected), there was not a 100% approval rate for any of the builders (My opinion is, if you look hard enough you will find negatives on anything) except for Hallmark, which again makes us feel really confident with our decision. It is a tough decision, and one that only you can make, however our opinion is that Hallmark have been really helpful and easy to deal with so far, and all our research says that wont change (said with fingers crossed ). Good luck, and if you have any other questions, just yell out. Re: Building with Hallmark Homes 16May 15, 2019 10:56 am Where you building? Our frame is just going up. Re: Building with Hallmark Homes 20May 15, 2019 11:04 am Thanks, we think so, just cant wait to get up and see it again soon. We went with the Retreat 305, but altered it slightly (Just changed and moved some doors and raised roof height pretty much). Layout suited us perfectly apart from that. We've got two young boys, so having their bedrooms at the other end of the house is going to be bliss Ask for references and speak to them. If they are defensive or try to avoid the request, walk. 1 74716 I would never build with Fowler homes. I built with them in 2021 and till date maintenance issues are pending.
