We are looking at building a custom version of the GJ Gardner Montville. Have not had any luck finding someone who has built this home, hoping to find someone on here who has built and what the feedback was ? What do you wish you had changed (floor plan wise)? What did you love?

we have built the montville 462. We basically left it exactly as per the layout except we had to move our garage back to comply to covenants and removed the bar from the games room as we didnt think we would use it. Also moved the entry to the media room to come off the living room not the main entrance. Anyone have any completed photos of theirs?

Just wondering if anyone else has decided to build a GJ Gardner Montville recently, and if so, their experience.
We decided on doing the Montville 462 Resort, with floor plan changes, and different facade to what is seen, and waiting on building permits, with a hopeful start sometime in October.

We are also going through the contract stage of building the montville 380, but have extended it to be a 410 as the 420 wont fit on our building envelope. Wanting to know if anyone has any pictures of their progress or completed home and is there anything they'd change? We still have time to change things if need be.

We will start building our Montville 460 in Feb. Are having ridiculous issues with council but hope to sort this soon. good luck with your build
SBG14 that's exciting if you can get something going for Feb!! We are still waiting for a bushfire and site assessment to be done. Then it will go to final drawings, engineering, council and then final contacts, so still a while to go.
We started everything in August so its taking a little while but I feel we won't get a slab laid until April/May.
Which GJ gardner office you with?

We're keen on building a Montville type home, but live in South Africa - so can't use GJ Gardener....is there anyone who can share the either photos or drawings of the externals, I can only find the view of the front door.

SBG14 that's great news! The exciting part now starts. Things are slow over here, they only sent off to council for the planning permit about 2-3 weeks ago. We'd be lucky to get a site cut mid year I think, but fingers are crossed.

SBG14 how is the build going? Our planning permit with Cardinia council should be approved tomorrow our builder has advised. Then the final contract will be issued...yay finally. Hoping a slab will be laid mid year which is not far away at all.
hope its all going well for you.
