Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Jun 11, 2018 10:24 am Hi all, I'm giving myself a headache going through all the myriad of options for facade colours. I'd love some suggestions please! I have attached the elevations, the facade colour suggestion from the builder and 2 facades that I like the colour of which can maybe be used on my facade some how. I've also attached an image of a kitchen which has almost the identical colours to what I've chosen for the kitchen, floor coverings and bathrooms etc, to give an idea of what the inside will look like. I appreciate any and all help. Thank you! It seems you like the dark grey/white look... Besides your posts/rail and garage door there’s not a lot of options for timber. Unless you could do a timber feature post on the center post. Maybe a timber lined ceiling on your balcony? Just remember that real timber needs a lot of maintenance so put it only where it’s accessible. You could use a timber look tile or the manufactured timber that’s maintenance free. Facade looks great though😊 Re: Help With Facade Colours 3Jun 11, 2018 1:47 pm Don’t worry too much about the link between inside and outside, as you don’t see one from the other and vice versa. We used a lot of timber on our house and it looks great so I will deal with the maintenance requirements. On your facade you could replace the smooth sheeting with timber cladding and that would look nice. Finally, I like best the second of the facades that you like. Nice pick with the paint colours! 1 23923 Thank you @. Tried to play with the facade models but the exact colour is not matching up. 2 995 Be very careful of copyright infringement when posting Floor plans, elevations etc, Flip the internal stairs, get a northern roof light well down into the F/M/K 3D Bim… 4 12857 |
