Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Sep 06, 2022 8:29 pm Hi all, We have just secured a downward sloping block to build a split level, 350sqm home on the gold coast. While we had a quote from 2 builders 6 months ago and they were pretty reasonable and similar cost wise for the exact design (we have preliminary designs), we are looking for an alternative builder on the gold coast or northern NSW. We do have medium to high finishes, and specifically require an experienced sloping block builder. Unfortunately, given the market, costs have gone up significantly and we do need to stick within a budget here - nothing unreasonable, however will require some value engineering possibly to get best value for money. If anyone has any recommendations, or experiences which you would have rather avoided, please let me know. Thanks in advance! Once you have a fair idea of what's involved then monitor rates, costs and charges. We are already starting to see reductions as economic thumb screws are tightened.
