Browse Forums Building A New House Re: My New Home...eventually! 21Sep 08, 2008 10:04 am Wow Suh, just georgous. I can see why all the important rooms are upstairs, to take full advantage of the views and the location.
Really great seperate areas. Are they considering underground power fot your area? I am sure its no big deal but it would be great once its gone. The power pole that is. I can't wait for your house to progress its going to be fun to watch..... Re: My New Home...eventually! 23Sep 08, 2008 10:19 am Must be a Perth thing. Alot of our older areas are starting to have the posts taken down and the power being run underground. We must have to much money going to council. UPDATE PICS 24Sep 13, 2008 5:30 pm We have paint and a roof.

Can't wait to see the next stage. Re: My New Home...eventually! 31Sep 14, 2008 3:24 pm Stunning! I love the colour choices in the drawing. Re: My New Home...eventually! 32Sep 14, 2008 3:46 pm Thanks everyone, I am excited now, it is moving along. The drawing does look nice but they aren't the colours we are using, we are going with lighter greyish whites and a darker shade of grey. The painters have been told to get a move on as they want to get rid of the scaffolding (cost). I can't wait till they get the staircase frame in cause I am not good on ladders. Getting up is not a problem, coming down I freeze, I could be standing on the edge of the tallest building just the same to me. Re: My New Home...eventually! 33Sep 14, 2008 9:33 pm That is going to be one amazing home! What an awesome floorplan....i can't wait to see some inside shots! Re: My New Home...eventually! 34Sep 14, 2008 10:09 pm SuH,

Re: My New Home...eventually! 35Sep 16, 2008 9:47 pm Hi SuH - I thought that I recognised your coastal outlook. Lo and behold on the way home from picking up the kidlets today I drove past your place. Is such a lovely area - DH is sometimes a little worried about renting out here whilst our build gets under way - worried that he won't want to move back in closer to town I keep telling him to think of it like a year long holiday - you on the other hand will have that feeling for as long as you live in your new home methinks. Re: My New Home...eventually! 36Sep 17, 2008 7:07 pm Hi there kyton. Damn small world this www. We are renting down the road and I am fortunate...or unfortunate....enough to be able to check on it every day. I can't wait. Where are you building? Re: My New Home...eventually! 38Sep 17, 2008 8:13 pm kyton Hiya Su, We are renting in Redhead but have 3800sqm in the centre of Lambton. Hopefully our plans will be ready for council lodgement sometime this week so another 12mths away for us!! It took about 6 weeks for our plans to be approved at LMCC which was excellent, we expected 8-12. At Redhead hey, nice spot. Re: My New Home...eventually! 39Sep 17, 2008 8:17 pm SuH I have put a photo of the laundry on my blog, with Oyster Linea and Licorice Linea. If you like greys, you should like both of those, and I know you said you like the Lineas!
