Itโs honestly suprising how fast the original price grows with small changes
Youโre not wrong. Itโs scary stuff.

We also have passed our first stage of council approval, now we just need to get our colour selections complete and we should be able to move forward to finalising our finances Hey! Building at Two Wells also! Have you been down lately? How much of the roads are completed? I need to make a trip down. Hi there, i believe they completed more of Daffodil Drive over the weekend. What stage are you in? We are stage 6A or 6B one of those.. Apple Tree Lane. Just recieved my Master Plans. Wondering how long the roads will take.. Re: Eden Two Wells SA 27Dec 19, 2018 10:00 am Sorry I havenโt been up at all this month, we have heard that our council approvals have all gone through ๐๐ so we really just need to finalise our selections and finance an we can start building We have been waiting a long time for our stage to be ready for building, the last date they gave was in October but back then it still wasnโt ready. Re: Eden Two Wells SA 28Dec 20, 2018 7:29 pm Received an email today, our roads are finally complete ๐ site to be repegged but today was officially the day the lot is accessible by the valuers/bank ๐๐ Booked in for colour selections on Jan 8th, SA Housing informed us that the process has changed. We will go in make our selections, leave for an hour or so to come back and all the costings will be calculated, it is then ready for any more changes or if weโre happy we can finalise it there on the day rather then it dragging out over weeks etc.. Feeling like we are finally making progress ๐๐๐ผโโ๏ธ๐ Re: Eden Two Wells SA 29Dec 20, 2018 8:45 pm Jolly Received an email today, our roads are finally complete ๐ site to be repegged but today was officially the day the lot is accessible by the valuers/bank ๐๐ Booked in for colour selections on Jan 8th, SA Housing informed us that the process has changed. After spending multiple Saturdays at the design centre and visiting display homes, I was happy to get our selections appointment completed and finalised within 2 hours. We were one of the first to complete our selections through the new system, where you make all your selections, then you are asked to leave for lunch. Once you return all the costings have been calculated for you to review and make changes if needed, then your able to have it finalised before you leave at the end. Much quicker then having the back and forth emails, phone calls etc.. Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅

Re: Eden Two Wells SA 34Mar 16, 2019 12:09 am We officially received our 'OK to start', on Monday 4th March and were given a 3 - 6 week period until we will see any works towards the footings :-D:-D They have also provided us with an online portal that we can log into, within this we can see the progress of our build, along with estimated dates for different stages of completion. Have you been down lately? How much of the roads are completed? I need to make a trip down. Hi Jess, Just wanted to see how you guys are going with your stage? We were told as the blocks are selling so fast they have added additional civil contractors to get the stages released sooner so I thought you might've made some progress Re: Eden Two Wells SA 38Mar 16, 2019 3:59 pm We heard the same thing about extra contractors on. We are in stage 5 on Lavender Drive, and told settlement of the land wont be until May/June... Which means may not start until July! October last year we were told it would start in March this year......... We arnt in a hurry to build and want everything done right, but so far dates/timings are waaaay off! Not sure about the blocks selling fast, the blocks either side of me are still available... the sales guy i speak to says they have slowed down on sales, as people are buying more in Virginia Grove and Liberty, not so much Eden. Completed all our selections but haven't bothered with finance yet because the pre approval will just expire with all the delays, so we will wait to get a little closer on that one, gives us more time to save. I am so relieved that you have had progress and will start seeing so movement, i hate waiting haha. Have you got a fencing quote yet? Im a little worried about how expensive it will be. Hi Jess, What stage are you building in? We are in stage 5.. We have had a quote for install only of fencing (Friendly Neighbour) at 30$ per M or 65$ per M inc. a concrete sleeper. We can get the fencing cheaper with another company family works at. We will be needing around 102M of fence in total, then the cost halved with each neighbour. Who are you building with? Cheers. I built with EB back on 2009.
