Regarding the contract, agree with whats been said, it doesnt appear that you can change it. It is based on the HIA contract but it has additional even more biased conditions added. So basically read and understand it so you know where you stand. For example: details in emails from Rawson aren't considered part of the contract. They really need to be on the plans/tender or variations to be actionable. Be painfully pedantic and specific about what is written for any variations you do, it will save misunderstanding and price increases later on.. especially stair cases!
