Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Oct 08, 2016 8:34 pm Hi, I'm building a home with Montgomery Homes and I am wondering if anyone can help on the brick side of things! I am wanting a light colour grey brick for my home. Does anyone know or have used any and can leave a name/picture of it for me. Thanks so much. But after looking at the brick displays its definitely a pale grey, i think the sunlight hitting it at certain times of day makes it throw a beige/tan colour Re: LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 7Oct 09, 2016 10:23 am Love it! Looks like you can only get slate in QLD. Thanks though. Re: LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 8Oct 09, 2016 10:25 am Hi Jennifer, They told us we can't have Sorbetto as Montgomery won't use that one to build with. I think maybe because of the colour variation. I might ask a different person and see what they say. Thanks. There was Truffle as well but that was a bit darker, it seems more medium grey to me. Thanks heaps. I think its about $4k upgrade for us and we have already hit over budget. I was hoping for something a bit cheaper but may have to resort to not using grey, sadly LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 14Oct 09, 2016 8:14 pm That's what I was told at the Thornton display because I did question it because I thought the same. Bricks are so deceiving in different lights if I knew the name of the display home I would tell you I can't remember but I know it wasn't a Macdonald jones or coral sorry I couldn't help more Milestone coral homes modified stradebroke 32 LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 15Oct 09, 2016 8:18 pm [quote="Rochelle-1212"]Milestone that picture you posted of the truffle brick is so so nice. Don't be afraid to knock on doors or leave a note with your email in letter boxes asking what bricks people have most would be flattered and love to share. I wish you all the best and will follow to check out your final selections Milestone coral homes modified stradebroke 32 Re: LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 16Oct 09, 2016 8:21 pm I recently worked on a house that had kwilla colour mortar and truffle brick all house was kwilla beading and posts looked so awesome Re: LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 17Oct 13, 2016 11:33 pm I did some investigating... I got the Thorton map out off Discover Home World and went through all the display brands/houses on display in thorton one by one until I found the house with those grey bricks (nearly 1 hour later). I really want the name of them now. All I know is it is a Masterton - Concerto. It's the internal images of that house. It looks the same as your photo grey bricks with grey grout. Maybe I should make a new thread with the two photos and see if anyone knows.. I'm new to this forum and don't know the best way for others to read it (someone has to know). I am running out of time to choose haha. Thanks all. Re: LOOKING FOR A COOL LIGHT GREY BRICK WITH PGH BRICKS 18Oct 14, 2016 5:06 am Have you contacted PGH for a list of house addresses? Then you should be able to track down some homes local to you so you can do a drive by and look at them in the real world. You can ask for more than one brick, so you could get moon dust and anything else you think might be on the shortlist still at this stage.
