We had no idea about this kind of thing (first house build), and trusted he knew what he was doing. Our mistake. So, house is completely finished. Removing slab etc as you describe would be well over 300K$ for front house remove and rebuild, and probably 6 months of work. We can do the perimeter drainage (landscaping isn't finished) to try to keep the surrounding soil less moist. The tanking stuff (reverse sealing) might be OK for dry lining.
