I was stingy as and kept say no. Air con was free with sapphire package. I'm also looking at building the Boston but have only just started looking so I'm curious to understand all the costs involve and extra things I need to consider such as did you upgrade the air-conditioning? Thanks Amanda Re: Clarendon Boston 36 Central Coast 24Nov 04, 2019 6:35 pm I would go with Clarendon and just do standard EVERYTHING to keep tour costs down. You can always do stuff after you move in. We are very happy with clarendon [quote="ABBS"]Hi, all your info is really helfpul and really appreciate your time writing and blogging! We are looking at the Boston as well and so far all dealings with Clarendon have been great. Except for all the hidden upgrades I found on the plans - like the huge window in the back area is an upgrade if you want it fully closed! Also Hamptons facade was $25K EXTRA!!! WTF We are looking at keeping things simple and as much to Standard Inclusions (Sapphire) as possible. Anyway I really wanted to ask about the Standard floor tile/laminate options?? Was there a large colour range and style to choose from? Do they have subway tiles etc? Do you have a brochure you could possibly share? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks[/quot Re: Clarendon Boston 36 Central Coast 25Nov 04, 2019 6:37 pm How bizarre you can’t get the phone number. Our site supervisors gave us his. kimba012 I am building the Boston 35. So frustrating that you are not allowed to have the phone number of the building site supervisor. I wait for my weekly phone call, but if I cant answer when he rings he leave a message and then I have to wait another week to hopefully catch him. I cant say I'm happy with the build so far. Re: Clarendon Boston 36 Central Coast 27Nov 04, 2019 7:44 pm Thank you! We really love it and would go clarendon again 👌 Our build projection was 42 weeks and it took 27! You new house looks amazing. Just wondering if you upgraded your kitchen cabinet to white gloss? it looks nice? if so how much did it cost you extra? were you given an option to upgrade the kichen splasback to toughened glass as well? i wonder if its very expensive with Clarendon or install that myself afterward? Thanks Duffy Re: Clarendon Boston 36 Central Coast 29Nov 05, 2019 3:38 pm Duffy Anna4Chris Hi everyone, Sorry for the lack of posting. We’ve been in our gorgeous house for 6 months now. We used the standard white subway tiles as a splash back and paid extra to have them Laid herringbone style Re: Clarendon Boston 36 Central Coast 30Nov 05, 2019 6:48 pm Anna4Chris Duffy Anna4Chris Hi everyone, Sorry for the lack of posting. We are in Sydney and looking to build the same home i don't expect such a quick turnaround here though. Can I ask how much you spent on tile upgrades? Did you do flooring post handover? Or did you get flooring through Clarendon? I think earlier in your post i saw you mention you spent less than 10k on rendering? They told us it would be like 25k! (So i think we will have to go with brick at the bottom and choose a nice grey colour and render later if we decide to) Re: Clarendon Boston 36 Central Coast 32Nov 06, 2019 5:33 am JennyH Hi Anna, your house looks amazing!, and awesome that they built it so quick too. However, we did pay extra to do our splash back with grey grout and herringbone style. We did our flooring with Clarendon. Again, no upgrades! We chose standard laminate wood flooring. Looks gorgeous. We did upgrade carpet to silver package, as it was reasonably priced. We didn’t render as it’s too expensive. We chose morroca bagged. Way cheaper than render. There is nothing special about these and I imagine literally every stair installer will be able to do this. 1 6747 Anybody know any good and reasonably priced Air conditioning contractors/companies that could install a ducted air conditioning system in the Central Coast NSW for a small… 0 8996 Hi, just need to ask if anyone build with Central Properties in Victoria.
