Browse Forums Building A New House Re: Coral homes marcoola 32 modified - mundoolun qld 42Jul 24, 2018 6:43 pm I love the marcoola... one thing I didn’t pick up on which is kind of cool. In the main bedroom there is a cut out in the wall between the bath tub and the bed wall. I will put a cool screen in there but I had no idea it was a standard thing. Also we changed the kids activity so it’s like the marcoola 31 😁 by moving the family room wall over 500ml and swapping the linen cupboard we will have a study desk Like ⋅ 2 comments ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral homes marcoola 32 modified - mundoolun qld 48Jul 25, 2018 10:04 am Love the kitchen inspo pic, beautiful warm and wood tones. Looking great so far, nice relief when things are moving quickly and getting done after so long in admin hey. I think we dealt with the same useless rep before he got the sack, kept asking us the same questions on weekly check in calls and then we kept telling him those things were in corals hands and we'd done/signed our bit, would call and ask for the same thing a week later! He easily added one to two months onto our process, which was frustrating. At least the delays and hold ups seem to be done with in the build phase, I would be super stressed if there were problems now, but seems like you're flying along! We have an amazing site supervisor he is so fast to get back to us and has been so helpful. Our guy was cam..eron and was sooo painful. I did fell bad for him but he did add so much time to our build. He never called me back and always gave me wrong info. We got a lady to finish all our things and she was great. I wish we had her from the start. But it has given me extra time to save for things so I’m at a good place now. Having Gary has been so good he is great and experienced. How is your build going now? Re: Coral homes marcoola 32 modified - mundoolun qld 51Aug 10, 2018 11:10 pm Had a look and they are getting there. Plaster and cornice done and wet sealing done. Painter starts this week (before tiles as the painters are free) looking good though. Carpenters were doing fit out, so I’ll get some pics on Sunday 😁 Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Like ⋅ Add a comment ⋅ Pin to Ideaboard ⋅ Re: Coral homes marcoola 32 modified - mundoolun qld 52Aug 16, 2018 9:38 pm We have kitchen and cabinets 😁 painting has started and down pipes are on. Looking good! 🎉🎉👌🏻😊 I’m so happy 😀 my father in law does kitchens for some areas coral do and he hooked me up with soft close drawers, black handles, kids study desk, pantry cabinets and laundry cabinets. He is doing all our robes also ❤️ Re: Coral homes marcoola 32 modified - mundoolun qld 55Aug 17, 2018 5:45 pm LOVE this! Where is this from? It's what I've been looking for but haven't been able to find. PS love your build progress.. will be following on. We have just put a block under contract around the corner from you in Woodhill. Fingers crossed finance goes through soon - we have already had a few hiccups along the way. Re: Coral homes marcoola 32 modified - mundoolun qld 56Aug 17, 2018 7:43 pm Ourhomebythehill LOVE this! Oh we had a few along the way too. But wood hill is so close. I love this area and it felt like it was never going to happen but now I can see it all coming together. If you want to come and have a look let me know. I wish I could see some actual coral houses when I was looking so more then happy to show you 😁 The dining table is from Harvey Norman and is $2000 for the whole set or chairs are $99. I did just find a similar one from super amart it’s only new but half the price so I am considering this one. And the amart one has matching bar stools. Love it can’t wait!!! What week are you guys up too? We are up to week 12, estimated hand over of the 5th October. Not long to go now. Ask the council if there is a chance of getting build over easement exemption. Sometimes easements are unused and 24cm is not all that much. Good luck. And yes any builder… 2 13771 In Qld it is a requirement that a builder must have a cost breakdown, for building a home to the same specification, with the same inclusions and the same finish. So ask… 1 4346 Hi all. Anyone know when the $11,000 limit was set in legislation for renovations in QLD? Ive been renovating for 5 years now and this was the limit back then. As we know,… 0 4244 |
