Re: Building with Masterton - Harmony Exclusive 5Dec 12, 2020 9:10 am Bubygyrl Finally settled and sold our family home to start this next adventure and build our forever home. Land has been purchased (settles in a week) and is Registered. We have paid our initial deposit to Masterton for the Harmony Exclusive. So far our Sales Consultant has been fantastic, she has given me pricing for everything so where I know it will be difficult (Tiling and Electrical) I have already allocated provisional allowances to cover in the tender when we get to selections. She isn't charging for Double Hinged Doors to the theatre and an Anticon Blanket. Our Upgrades chosen: - Aspire Facade (Raked Ceilings are included when you go with this facade) - Velux Skylights as per Warwick Farm Display - Waterfall Bench - Alpine White Benchtop throughout - Increased Sliding Door Heights - Render to front - Square Set Cornice and larger skirting - Cabinetry to WIR and Laundry - No Carpet, 500mm Porcelain Tiles to Living and Bedrooms - Larger Mirror in Bathroom and Ensuite as per Display Our previous home we sold we had Bamboo throughout, and we were going to do the same here, but noticed how easily it scratches and all the marks once we got the furniture out, we have 2 kids and an inside dog so made the decision to just go with tiles throughout (and add some nice rugs instead) Impressed with what is included Ultimate package and if it wasnt for this can see how easily it would have been to spend even more on Upgrades. This is our first time building and as much as I am hoping for as smooth as possible process (hoping but also being realistic) would love to be in by the end of the year. So right now waiting on the next step and paying the 5% Deposit. How long did your build take and are you happy with how it went? Re: Building with Masterton - Harmony Exclusive 6Jan 17, 2021 2:20 pm Hi...it would be great if you are able to jump back and tell us how the final process of the build is. How Masterton was during the final stages and if there was any extra costs incurred that were not part of the tender document Building Standards; Getting It Right! Also an expansion joint. It will probably be better to silicon it? What I don't like is that joints between panels are not properly rendered and look ugly. 1 24766 I’m curious about how you went with this. We are planning a KDRB and considering Plantation Homes as a builder. I’m aware that after the demolition another soil test… 1 6081 i wouldn't be worried, you'll definitely miss something, no matter how many times you review. we've spent close to 5 months ensuring everything got reflected in the… 5 9205 |
