Browse Forums Building A New House 1 Apr 11, 2018 3:51 pm Hi all, Did anyone built with Simonds in Sydney? If so how are their timelines? I am building 2 storey Avalon with them and my land registration is due next month. So wondering how long it would take from there to finish construction. When I discussed with them their construction time is 38 weeks. But I would like to know from other owners how is their process Thanks in Advance Re: Building with Simonds in Sydney 2Jul 19, 2018 11:33 am Hi First one, We are currently building with Simonds. Contract was signed in September 2017. Gallery took the longest a couple of months due to a shortage of staff getting back to us in the required time frame. An email would take 2 weeks to get a reply which was a draw back so it lengthened the time to submit our paperwork to council which took another 3 months. As soon as we signed the final drafting they started construction. So construction is on the ball, the paperwork side was a lengthy process. So in saying that it took about 9 months from our initial decision of choosing simonds to construction stage. Hope that helps.
