Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 46Sep 06, 2018 11:40 am I have just had a second change of Site Supervisor which is not good. House is almost completed with just little things left like carpet and cleaning. I don't understand changing supervisor at this point in time. I am pretty angry with the way Mimosa are acting now. Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 47Sep 06, 2018 11:40 am Wild Not too long to completion, did you engage darbecca for any inspection yet ? not i have only planned to engage Darbecca at PCI stage Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 48Oct 02, 2018 11:26 am Since august my site supervisor has changed twice and works have really slowed down. This new guy keeps telling me that its all complete but when i visit the site it is still the same (unfinished) . They have to complete works outside for guttering and drainpipes. I guess inside they only need to do a final touch up of paint rest looks finished. I am really getting frustrated now. :/ Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 49Oct 24, 2018 9:29 am Still no news . i am at breaking point because they have been lingering on PCI for a while now. Will be writing a review on product review for sure now. Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 50Nov 14, 2018 11:14 am had my PCI on 8th NOV.. Darbecca guy found a lot of defects including one which would take a long time to fix ( door not aligned with ceiling) . SS advised it might take upto 4 weeks befoe handover. Not happy .. i have written a review at product review as well but i am letting mimosa respond to it first before i publish it. Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 53Nov 20, 2018 11:37 am Thanks Yasir, Looks like it’s the same for everyone, I’ve had Alekis and it’s Paul now. Please do write a review at the end of your build, I am going to do the same. At least let’s save some people from wasting their time and money. Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 55Nov 20, 2018 11:54 am I do want to mention that they are good in some estates... I saw someone's house being completed in 3 months in woodlea. So i guess it depends on your luck. If you get a good supervisor who knows what he is doing then you are lucky. Re: Building Hamilton 230 with mimosa homes 56Nov 20, 2018 11:55 am Wild Thanks guys - I was gonna build with em initially but didnt procced after the experience yasir and couple of other people mentioned. Wild, Trust me, You have made a better discussion. I won’t recommend mimosa to my enemy. Good luck with your build. Mine Slab was poured on a heavy rainy day (so, it’s all powdering in the surface) Whole kitchen was 100mm out Some of the doors were small while I have paid for higher doors. I can quote more, what I am saying is mimosa doesn’t have good tradesmen.
