Narellan Pools 😊

Should be finished by Wednesday, minus pool equipment, which has to wait for concreting to be done in about 10 days. Paving and fence done late October - due to delay in pavers coming from overseas.

Can’t wait for it to be done… no backyard for our puppy at all right now. Just piles of stones and dirt ready for back filling around pool shell. Be prepared for your backyard to be destroyed during install!
We've got a very defined area to work in due to an overlay, that the pool guys are aware of...

We're thinking of a honed aggregate pool deck with a clear seal to match in with our other hard surfaces

Mate, Congratulations on a nice build !! The home looks stunning.. I am in a KDR & awaiting Tender from M.

Apologies for quoting a slightly older post of yours. I found one interesting inclusion for me to consider & your response is very valuable for me…

“ Pre Wiring for Solar Panels” - did you find any benefit of doing this with M (or) do it post the build ?

I will spend this week to read through the posts & pick some sound bytes from your build..

Thanks,

Thanks Rameshn, appreciate your feedback 😊

As we built a two story house we wanted to do pre-wiring for solar panels, CCTV, as well as Internet and data outlets in house. This was mainly to avoid conduit running up the external walls when retrofit later. We also got the NBN package through them, which made it a lot easier connecting up later on.
Pool has been installed for about 6 weeks now. There were delays due to the 2 week construction closure and our pavers should arrive in the next fortnight.

Official handover to show us how to operate equipment is tomorrow - looking forward to them giving us our vacuum so we can get the pool floor clean! At least the water is clean, so we have been able to swim 💦

Once pavers and fence are installed, cladding will go onto fence, plants will go in and damaged grass will be replaced.

☀️ Just in time for summer! ☀️

It has taken a few months…. Mainly due to a 4 month delay in pavers, but the backyard makeover is finally complete. 💦☀️🍻

That's awesome, who did your pool and outdoor kitchen?

We've got the same space and bricked up the wall and installed shutters, but need to find a decent outdoor kitchen to go in the space

Hi Drew01, Narellan Pools built our pool. Local landscaper did the pool paving and fence. Clayton’s did the outdoor kitchen - custom made for the space. Hubby did the vertical wall garden 😊.

Having a break for a while and then in spring we will put up Star Jasmine on wire along rest of fence so we have some greenery for kitchen/pantry splashback windows, laundry and powder room. How is that man cave going?
Awesome, we've just managed to get approval to move the line of easement in our place, so a pool is back on the agenda...

Man cave has stalled due to weekend commitments with the kids, but our side gate is mostly complete, just need to do a test fit, and clean before sending it to powdercoat
